if i was you i would give it about two weeks at these temps.maybe in the meantime we can do some maintenance on our equiptment and make sure our gas augers are in good  working order so we are prepared when safe ice is here. ;D

I'm thinking same thing.  It'll be a little while for Nimi.

I believe we will be back on the ice again this season but being a Browns fan I have learned that there is always next season just in case we dont get back on the hardwater. I haven't had a boat for several years but I think this year I will get another one. I dont have much time in the summer to fish but by having a small boat I will be able to fish when Im laid off and we dont have ice. May have to get a small pontoon so I can cut some holes in the floor and set up my hub shanty for when its cold out.

The ice will return, but any excuse to buy a boat is a good one!!  I couldn't live without mine!

I really need to get a boat. By the way, I did a Nimi drive by today, allot of waves. Hopefully ML King day will bring will bring the ice we so desperately need.
