daughter has bball at 10 after game will head out see you there--i have a shappell 3500---evryone goes into 12 plus feet of water and big crappies and gills are 7-10 at most--found spot 2 years ago with kids 6 ft deep caught 150 plus gills size of your hand-put them all back but kids are hooked--i could not even fish my 7 and 12 year olds were pulling them up non stop--we had a blast!!!
