Checked the ice this morning (Sunday 2/17) at Nimisila at 7:45am at C5 with my spud bar. NO GOOD., less than 1" of shoreline ice. One & two punches & I was through it.

Will try to get on it Monday afternoon, 2/18... maybe through the woods or off Christman Rd.

 >:( Wanted to try to fish today but the daughters car wouldn't start so she took ours . I got to watch the battery charge all day . Bad battery , won't take much of a charge . :'(

That stinks, hope we have good ice for Saturday evening, wife's at a girl's night and I seriously want to fish somewhere.

Went by Nimisilla today and the shore line ice at C5.was trashed from the rain  .The rest of the ice looked pretty bad .I don't think it will recover for this weekend .

I told someone the other day that the only reason I would have a boat would be to drag it out onto late ice and stay there till I couldn't fish on ice anymore :)
