So I totally forgot to mention that a professional fisherman came up casting a spinner bait on where I was fishing and missed a short strike from a Musky or Carp...ps. Carp don't typically follow like this fish did.
There were bait fish in the area and trolling top water baits in the coves during this time of year will help catch these post spawn mammoths!
