I just wanna run something by all fellow members, I have been a life member of nafc for about 12 yrs now but over the last 2+ years now I have not received any of my magazine or anything else from them. I've tried to send them messages and phone calls but I get nothing. Is anyone else having this issue or have any information to share! Thanks.

I don't know have the rest of us feel but this election cannot get over with soon enough! The campaigns, commercials, and the endless talks about the most embarrassing election in american history, or at least that I can remember. Hope my vote for Jonny Depp pulls through! Come on Tuesday!

Hey guys, stopped by Mark's today and I can't even begin to tell ya how stocked up and ready for ice season he is. If you live close stop in and see him. If your looking for a certain go to item I bet he's got it and you can't beat his pricing. Check out his Web site or give him a call, he is a great guy who really caters to the ice fishermen in our area and his selection can't be beat.

Take a look outside, can you see, can you feel ,can you hear . All the sights, sounds, and signs of a change ahead. Sit back and imagine the sun rising shedding it's light across the frozen landscape. Listen to the snow crunch beneath our boots as we make our way to this mornings secret fishing hole. Feel the ice part as we bore down to the frigid depths below. Alas iceman a change is upon us. The stinging chill of winter lies ahead. But to us it's not winter, it's our time , we have waited,we have dreamed, we have sat anxiously waiting for this moment. The moment when we step outside and stare out as the grass sparkles with crystals of the seasons first frost. So rise up fellow iceman breath it in deep, feel the chill Pierce your lungs! Now is the time my friends, rise up and call to arms. Gather your rods and gather your sleds our time is upon us! The days grow shorter and the nights cooler so let's celebrate the changing of the guard as we say good bye to the summer and welcome the magic of winter!

Well guys here are the dates and locations for this year's events, please remember that the dates are subject to change. I will give as much advanced notice as possible to any event that would need to be rescheduled or cancelled. All directors decisions are final, safety is the number one concern. Thanks to all the sponsors and everyone's support. Looking forward to seeing everyone this year for another season on the ice. Just hope the weather will cut us some slack and let us enjoy our shared ice fishing passion.

Here are the lakes for this year's pan fish series ! This seasons events will be held at Nimisila, Mogadore, and mosquito. If weather conditions permit I can possibly add a 5th event. I am in the process of securing all pertinent permits and sponsorship. A new and improved rule sheet will be posted a few months before the start of the events. I will post dates for the events as we get closer. Plan on events beginning mid January into February as ice conditions develope. If you ARE SERIOUS about attending this year's events feel free to pm me so I can prepare for this season. Thanks in advance for your patience and feedback. Hope everything one is having a good summer thus far. It may seem crazy but the behind the scenes work for the tournament have begun. Any suggestions for the series would be much appreciated. I'm open to all lake ideas in the NE so don't be shy. The sooner the better so I can secure some sponsors and get the permits rolling. Thanks in advance and bring on the ice.

Just read a great article in my new IN FISHERMAN magazine I received today on bluegill harvest and the effects it has on the population. I know this had been a hot topic and I recommend this article for all to read.

At this time it is with a very heavy heart that I am canceling the remaining events of the 2016 pan fish series. With uncooperative weather Paterns and unusually warm temperatures it has been a sobering experience to say the least. But looking forward to next season some changes are on the horizon . There will be a standardized set of rules to clean up the gray areas and hopefully answer all the questions I faced this year. Thanks to all the sponsors who helped make this year's events a success, and thanks to all those who came out and fished. See everyone next year.

I've been asked by many members to organize a ice fish Ohio meet and greet. With a very uncooperative winter at hand I believe a dock gathering would be are best bet. Please reply if you are interested in joining us and we will evaluate what area works for us. Also I would be open to holding one for open water this year on lake Erie on middle bass island,I've got a guide who is interested in working with me and there is a great place to camp and eat right there, please let me know.

Once again the weather forecast is affecting the mosquito event outlook. I will work diligently to update as quickly as possible all information on this coming weekends event. With cold Temps forecasted until Thurs I will leave the event as scheduled. Please keep checking for further updates. Warmer Temps are expected by weeks end which could result in another unfortunate cancelation.
