Hello all, I am saddened to report that our dear friend Bobby is hospitalized in critical condition at this time. I received a tough phone call from his wife this afternoon, he is on a ventilator and is day by day. Let's all say a little prayer for our long time friend. Lord please cleanse us of the covid pandemic, enough lives have been lost. May your hands heal Bobby and his family, make him well and dissipate the pain. 🙏 Sincerely Nate

Fished the graveyard last several weekends looking for walleye but haven't had any luck, or heard of anyone catching any. Without giving up your secret spots can anybody share some ideas of where they might be hiding. I was thinking winter patterns and deeper water but I'm struggling 😪 thanks!!

Hello all, Saturday 2/13/2021 I will be holding a IFO get together at Mosquito Reservoir near the graveyard area. Stop by and say hello, I will have products from Gruv and Venom Outdoors on display and Demo. Bring your big fish by and if it has that " WOW" factor there might be a little something in it for you. Looking forward to seeing you guys soon on the ice!!

Attention members, starting immediately the Alum Creek dock tournament will be on hold until further notice. We will be having on ice events and get together events for the next several weeks as long as ice conditions support these events. Please log on and check IFO for updates.

Hello all, I've heard back from our printer with info on printing us some 12"X18" flags to fly with pride on your snowmobile, wilcraft or at. I would need a commitment from at least 50 members at a price of $12 per flag to cover our cost and minimum order. If interested please message me on the Ice Fish Ohio website and I can place you on the list, once I reach the 50 member mark I will place the order and make the announcement here. Thanks all!!

All, we are currently working behind the scenes to develop a on line store to offer products and apparel to our ice fishing community. Goods to include tackle for both hard water and open water fishing. We will work diligently to offer competitive prices and quality merchandise. We also include your favorite IFO apparel. We would hope for your continued support, all proceeds would go to support the expense of running the site and continued support of our ice fishing community. This is still a work in progress so stay tuned. We have already worked with our web site provider to develop the site to handle this new project. Let us know what you would like to see available and we will do our best to accommodate your wish list. Thanks for your patience and support as we try to green light this venture

A question for all my Lake Erie fishermen and ladies, what is your go to size and colors of sweedish pimples for icing those Erie walleyes? Let us know, call it wishful thinking but I'm still holding out hope that the big Lake will freeze up this year! 🙏

Hello all, I would like to know the local spots our members go when its time to bait up for the fishing trip. Please help us recognize these local shops by matching up a bait shop to your local lakes. This also will help other members who might want to travel your way to fish. Here's my example nimisilla reservoir- Eddie's bait & tackle. And when possible lets all support these local owned businesses and give back to our communities. Thanks all for your assistance with showcasing these local shops!😁

So I was sitting here after a long day of work just staring out my window watching the snow begin to fall. My mind began to drift away, I started dreaming of a landscape , covered in snow and lakes all frozen over with solid clear ice. I'm right where I want to be. Share with us your dream trip. If you could go anywhere this ice season where would it be, lake Erie, Minnesota, Canada. Share your thoughts and let's go there together. Positive thoughts equal Positive results. Soon we will be drilling some holes.
